Hey, I’m Madeleine (with three e’s)
…Or Maddie for short. I’m a visual designer with a curious mind. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I migrated south to study at Savannah College of Art and Design. As a multi-disciplinary designer with a focus in publication design, I mix curiosity, strategy, and drive to create innovative design solutions that tells a story. With my background in photography, I am able to blend type and image to create a harmonious relationship within my work.
With a passion for traveling, the exposure to new places and cultures pushes me out of my comfort zone and gives me a new perspective, and I find the same thing holds true in my work. I challenge myself to push past what is standard, and I aim to integrate these new fresh perspectives into each of my pieces. I believe it has made me a more well-rounded designer and given a voice to my work. As a designer, I am always trying to find new mediums to express my work. However, I believe that print provides the user with a tactical and sensory experience that digital design cannot, which is why I have such an interest in publication design.
